「點解寫字樓 "Writing House" 唔係寫字既地方，而係 "Office" 既？ 」
提起寫字，想起在香港讀小學時，已經有 Penmanship 一科，學用鋼筆寫字。
同時又要用毛筆臨帖，在九宮格上寫大字。
到今天還記得那「永字八法」的側、勒、努、趯、策、掠、啄、磔！
中學的國文老師常常對我們說，字乃人之衣冠。 為了鍛鍊我們的書法，他所有的考試測驗都要我們用毛筆作答。

字寫得最好的一位同學，結果未畢業就找到工作 ， 在酒樓當部長為客人寫菜單。
老一輩的中國人大體都同意：字寫得好，學問一定不錯。
所以「寫字樓」就戴上了一個光環，成為了行政中心的代名詞。
能夠在「寫字樓」當上一份文職，成為了很多年青人的理想。
那是一個還沒有電腦的年代。

"寫字樓" this article brings me back a lot of HK Central 白領's good old memories....miss all the shopping, after hours activities and sweating ha.ha.ha....
