稱之為一代尤物，瑪麗蓮夢露當之無愧。
吾生也晚，趕不上到戲院捧她的場。
對她的欣賞，主要還是來自影碟和電視上的舊片重溫。
夢露的姿容也許曾經顛倒眾生。
然而，更加吸引我的是她那充滿磁性，呵氣如蘭的低吟淺唱。
瑪麗蓮夢露在電影《大江東去》中所唱的主題曲〝The River of No Return〞是我最喜歡的其中一首。
《大江東去》是 1954 年作品，距今多年，夢露亦作「千古風流人物」久矣！

The striking beauties of the Canadian Rockies, mixed with the blonde charms of Marilyn Monroe and the masculine muscles of Robert Mitchum in "River of No Return" makes it unforgettable to an old movie fans like me.
If I remember correctly, this theme song was later also sang and recorded in Yiu So Yung and Yiu Li's albums.

電影《大江東去》的拍攝地點是 Alberta Banff 國家公園內的 Bow River，這地方我也去過，印象很深。
〝The River of No Return〞的中文版由司徒明填詞，最先翻唱的是姚莉，繼之是姚蘇容。之後，鳳飛飛、蔡琴、梅豔芳等很多歌星都唱過。不過，韻味和夢露唱的很不一樣。
