自從亞省 Edmonton 有人在咖啡連鎖店 Tim Hortons 買了 500 杯咖啡贈飲之後， 安省 London 與及亞省 Chestermere 、High
River 等地方亦有人照辦煮碗送出咖啡。
據 Tim Hortons 表示，本週累計已經至少有 12 宗請飲咖啡事件出現在加拿大全國各地。
有人懷疑是 Tim Hortons 的一種宣傳手法。
我卻認為可能性不高。
原因是贈飲的地方大都是人口稀少的城鎮，贈飲若然做假好易通天！況且 Tim Hortons 已經發出聲明，這些「請喝咖啡事件」絕不會是他們自編自導的宣傳噱頭。
奇怪的是，為甚麽溫哥華到今天都沒有人跟風呢？

Here is what a woman who bought 800 cups of give awy coffee from a Tim Hortons in a hospital explained her reason to a reporter:
“It’s a way to give back,” Monica Kavanaugh said. “They've (hospital staff) helped my father a lot and I just feel, why not give a little back to the hospital?”
It is a gesture of thanks giving.
