Well, it turns out the customer is Alois Bell, who in fact is a pastor of the Truth in the World Deliverance Ministries Church.
ReplyDeleteAnd
The waitress Chelsea Welch who sent the story and picture to Yahoo News got fired after the pastor complained to the manager of the restaurant.
"My heart is really broken, I’ve brought embarrassment to my church and ministry." Said the pastor.
OMG
If Alois Bell, the pastor believed in what she was writing on the check, then she should stand by it. If she is now embarrassed, then maybe she wasn't so convinced she was doing right. She deserves whatever embarrassment she received.
ReplyDeleteI do not see how this "pastor" has a right to privacy when she wrote a personal note to the waitress. Her complaint and the subsequent firing of the waitress is totally wrong. The "pastor" should have read the menu where it says 18% gratuity added to parties of 8 or more. If she didn't like that policy she should have left before ordering and just stick with McDonald's.
ReplyDeleteAnother Waitress
