My 2nd childhood sweetheart used to keep a long beautiful pony tail. She cut off a small bunch of it and embroidered it onto a silk handkerchief and gave it to me as a gift.

I then developed a hobby of asking my other girl friends to give me a small bunch of their hair for my collection that I treasured very much. They all gladly did on condition that I allow them to pull off a few pieces of my own hair in exchange. May be that is why I became bald headed when I was only about 40 years old.

Those were the crazy but Romantic years that will never come back.

I would like to dedicate this song to "All the girls I've loved Before" to them all!!!

〝To all the girls I've loved before
Who traveled in and out my door
    I'm glad they came along
    I dedicate this song
To all the girls I've loved before

To all the girls I once caressed
And may I say I've held the best
    For helping me to grow
    I owe a lot I know
To all the girls I've loved before

The winds of change are always blowing
And every time I try to stay
The winds of change continue blowing
And they just carry me away

To all the girls who shared my life
Who now are someone else's wives
    I'm glad they came along
    I dedicate this song
To all the girls I've loved before

To all the girls who cared for me
Who filled my nights with ecstasy
    They live within my heart
    I'll always be a part
Of all the girls I've loved before

The winds of change are always blowing
And every time I try to stay
The winds of change continue blowing
And they just carry me away

To all the girls we've loved before
Who traveled in and out our doors
    We're glad they came along
    We dedicate this song
To all the girls we've loved before

To all the girls we've loved before
Who traveled in and out our doors
    We're glad they came along
    We dedicate this song
To all the girls we've loved before...〞

  2. "She cut off a small bunch of it and embroidered it onto a silk handkerchief and gave it to me as a gift..."

This kind of romantic won't happen again today. Uncle E, do you still have the hankerchief with you?

  4. Thank you all who understand romantic follies that we were entitled to pursue when we were young .

I treasured the silk handkerchief and my hair collection so much that I kept the photo album in my office safe.

But then, most of the lassies got married with others who are better than I am and for the protection of Privacy, I had to burn the photo album and kept those souvenirs and sweet memories in my heart.

Memories could be such sweet sorrow that I shall never forget.
